Arrenda+ raises MXN 1,000 million on BIVA to finance SMEs

The leasing company completed its largest transaction to date, rated AAA.

Leasing company Arrenda+ placed MXN 1,000 million on BIVA to fund new leasing contracts and credit for small and mid-sized companies.

Key terms

  • Issuer: Arrenda+ (Arrendamás)
  • Exchange: BIVA
  • Date: May 12, 2026
  • Amount: MXN 1,000 million, its largest transaction to date
  • Ratings: AAA from HR Ratings and S&P
  • Use of proceeds: New leasing contracts and SME credit, and repayment of liabilities
  • Note: Ticker, tenor and rate were not confirmed in the sources consulted

Our take

SME leasing is a source of demand for industrial and commercial real estate: every financed piece of equipment needs a building. A AAA rating on a structured issuance usually reflects the structure and collateral as much as the originator, the same logic that applies to rent-backed financing.

Congratulations to Arrenda+ and to everyone who made this placement possible.
