On September 8, 2026, the Mexican Private Capital Association (AMEXCAP) held its Private Capital Day at the White & Case headquarters in New York. The event brings together institutional investors and fund managers interested in Mexico and Latin America across private debt, growth, real estate, infrastructure and energy.
According to the organizers, the Mexican industry has raised more than USD 89 billion through over 800 investment vehicles in 23 years. The 2025 edition had more than 260 attendees, including 55 LPs from 39 institutions and 69 GPs from 41 funds. Memoranda reported that this year’s edition included Mexico’s Foreign Minister and its Ambassador to the United States, and a strong presence of Mexican and international law firms.
Why it matters
Real estate and private debt are among the event’s core themes. For Mexican developers and real estate investors, the presence of global LPs in these forums widens the pool of equity and debt available for industrial parks, housing, offices and mixed-use projects.
Congratulations to AMEXCAP and to everyone who made this edition possible.
