Home / The Firm

Independence, structure and execution.

A firm built so that real estate developers and mid-sized companies can access capital with the quality of advice enjoyed by large corporations.

“We design, negotiate and execute. One team, from structuring to closing.”

Borax Capital is an investment banking and private credit firm headquartered in Mexico City. We advise our clients on the capital decisions that shape their growth: how to fund themselves, whom to negotiate with, when to tap the capital markets, how to buy or sell a business and what it is worth.

We bring together, in a single team, financial structuring, legal execution, private credit origination and negotiation with banking, capital markets, development bank and private funding sources. Because we belong to no financial group, our advice answers only to our client’s interest.

  • Finance and corporate counsel
  • Tax and accounting advisers
  • Trustees and common representatives
  • Appraisers, construction monitors and rating agencies

Governance and compliance

Institutional standards in every transaction.

Credit committee

Every loan is approved under written policies and concentration limits.

Client and beneficial owner identification and transaction monitoring under applicable regulation.

Conflicts of interest

Disclosure of any proprietary participation and separation between advisory and lending.

Confidentiality

Non-disclosure agreements from first contact and restricted access to information.
